Eerily similiar to the chairs I had in grade school...in fact might be of the same..

Interesting to see the stark colour contrast here!
Always you get me with the colours and light Motts! Great shot!
we had the same chairs in high school in the lunch room
My grade school's library had chairs just like these!
ahhhhh, the chair pic!!! but wait it is not alone!!!! blue is just around the corner
Well it seems everyone had those same chairs in school, as did I. Heh, that's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this picture.
Look! a ring from Sonic the Hedgehog under the chair!
My Dr. has these chairs in her office. They are the blue that rtotten mentioned.
I too had these chairs in grade school. My music teacher would kick them at us because we would drive him crazy with our velcro shoe straps.
Thats back when they were getting popular.
Now guess how old i am. :-)
these chairs make your back itch......
Wow, that brings back memories! I can't say how many hours I sat and fidgeted in school in a chair just like that.
Here in the UK they're known as "Stacker" chairs - because they stack easily into large columns. Had them at school too - they make your ass sweaty and give you piles.
i think it was just school that gives you piles.
I really like yhis picture!
Agree chopsuey. My school gave me piles...piles of f*****g homework!
flashbacks to preschool...suppose that dates me a bit
flashback to the 5TH grade A.K.A the school year of hell
barbara-we actually still have chairs like that here, it's kind of creepy to see them here though.
Okay, who else wants to give their age away by stating that they, too, once sat their tush in a chair exactly like this one?
Those are the chairs we used for lunch in the middle shcool. In highschool they have black and red for our school colors :D
Oh gosh these chairs. i remember hating coming in to class early morning with pants wet from the rain and sitting on these plastic chairs. they itched!
Like pretty much everyone else who commented here, we had these same exact chairs in junior high, only ours were blue. They were really uncomfortable, and way too small.
The red chair looks like that we got in our dining hall in school back at the old days (early
80's), but the surroundings was slight cleaner at school I will remember.
these chairs were super horrible on a screwed up spine and back and they did itch like hell if ur pants were wet
loll I'm in my final year of high school and luckily never had to endure the horror of those chairs :P But it's neat to hear all your detailed explanations, I'm really into history so I'm always interested in what it really felt like to be back in that time.
LOL Rome. "Back in that time." This makes me laugh. And feel horridly old.
And... LOL OMG, if I'm seeing correctly, which may or may not be the case, this evening, and those ARE the horrid scratchy plastic chairs with the triangle hole out of the back, I too had to suffer them in grade school. I always wondered what that hole was for? Ventlation I guess...
HOLY crap i hate thos e chairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we had those chairs at are primary school! SO UNCOMFY!
