What type of walker is that? Is it for an infant or child?
It DOES look a bit large for an infant....

Looks like it is limping toward you, Motts.... Its crouching, and ready to LUNGE!! Better RUN!
It's a standing walker. The doughnut goes around the person's waist and holds them up while they walk. Works better with 4 wheels, however . . .
yeah at this assited living home I worked at, they use PVC pipe to use as a walker, was not too sturdy though a resident got hurt pretty bad when it tipped over :-(
Thanks Lynne. :)
Thank God for Lynn-:) it is really great having someone around that knows this stuff first hand and it really adds to the pictures to understand how this stuff is used.
Oh, gawrsh. [Looks at floor, shuffles feet in embarrassment.]
man that does not look that comfortable
is that spray paint or scorch marks on the floor?
might be rust, quinnifer. Looks like some 1950's horror movie mech's leser-known and definitely lesser-feared brother. Poor guy never got the attention he deserved.
Wow. When I first saw the picture, I thought it was a walker with a toilet on it - like for someone who walks so slow they can't make it to the bathroom.

Or .. like intense rehab. "No time to take a break for a piss, man,... i'm putting it right in the walker!"
DW- A pottywalker.
that is ill
The colors are soooo gooood! in this one.
looks to me that the person who used this walker would have to be very slim... (and of course it doesnt look very comfortable...)
I have a friend from highschool who used something like this. Mentally, she was normal, but something had gone horribly wrong during her birth. In middle school, the kids would start singing the jingle "CREE-E-EPY CRAWLER!" when she was going down the hall in her walker. SO cruel! I think I roughed up a younger kid for doing that one time.
The something horrible that went wrong during birth was probably cerebral palsy. My daughter has it. She sometimes uses a walker although hers is much nicer than that. I think if I ever heard someone say something like that I would seriously have to restrian myself from hurting them.
Words of hope - Matthew 6:25-34 - Be careful that you don't despise a single one of these little ones. For I tell you that heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father. God Bless You Auntmayme mommy.
I have to say that this is a wonderful photo with an immense array of colors. Good shot Motts!
Chippy and aunt mayme, I am with you both. How awful it must be to be disabled. Then add to that someone making fun of you? - " There but for the Grace of God go I...." words to remember and live by.
LOL @ "pottywalker."

Been WAY too long since I've been here! Our computer is an old dinosaur, will be getting a new one soon.

Right now, I am using my Mother-In-Law's computer (on vacation in Buffalo, NY), and boy, what a ROCKET!

*back to catching up on Mott's superfantastic work*
Those marks on the floor are from the walker itself no doubt. (rusty powder from the plating) Great shot!!
Where would we be without your knowledge Lynne? Seriously...it's greatly appreciated :)
i suffer from cerebral palsy myself although it is a mild case it was alot worse when i was younger i had to use a walker and braces on my legs so i agree totally with AuntMaymeMommy
I have heard that baby walkers do not help a infant learn to walk because they are unable to see their feet. (ie the tray on the walker; etc) So I am going out on a limb and say this type of walker helps because the Individual is able to see their feet?
Looks more like a sitter
I can't believe these things are left lying around in abandoned buildings! I need to try getting into these places...
But at 18, I'll be labelled a delinquent teen... oh well. *shrugs and jumps through the window*
