looks like the hallway been underwater, great pic
the green adds alot to it.
1) The door on the left has been recently opened; the paint peels are on the inside of the room...
2) it looks like someone made an attempt to clean the place up or at least sweep, the floor is oddly clean.
I really love the green and reds...really neato photo!
Yeah, my OCD made me clean! :D So much dirt, so little time...
The colors are amazing in this one
must have been one of the lock down wards. oh and by the way, My Babcia,(polish for grandma, please no jokes) worked at the kings park facility when she was a student nurse back in the stone age. And even though the place looks like the "EVIL CASTLE OF THE DAMNED MAD" the treatment of the patients was very quite progressive and kind. 1 more thing-MOTT GREAT FLIPPIN SITE THIS IS A ALMIGHTYSEND TO THOSE LIKE ME THAT WANTED TO SEE THESE JOINTS FROM THE INSIDE. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. ANND CAN I HAVE AN AUTOGRAPHED COPY OF YOUR BOOK. PLEEEEAAAASSSSE???????!!!!!!!!!
Ah Yes, Lead poisoning at it's best!
"lets take a walk down the hall way, its a long way, it takes all day. and when you get to the end you find a chair, with straps and chains, yeah we'll slap you in there." ICP- Hallz of illusionz . lol. it seems fitting.
amazing really, you know this place is supposed to be "haunted" right, its pretty awesome thought, during the day that is.
We roamed then and we roam now. Some are locked down and some are mixed right in society. We are protecting our sacred ground fom the evil doers and desecrating vandals. Urban explorers are welcomed and all others are not. You pass us by every day and we know who you are but you do not know us and you never will.
Behind The Green Door.
Seriously, is the old asylum REALLY said to be haunted? I'd be very surprised if it wasn't, to be honest- there must be several tormented souls hovering around there between this world and the next, waiting for help to find peace and release.
I'm currently reading a book about the Korean War ("This Kind Of War", T.H.Fehrenbach), and I wonder how many of the former inmates were poor soldiers from that war suffering from PTSD or nervous breakdown.
The colors here are really something.
