Okay is it just me, or does that not look like a Rorschart test in the glass?
Well, it looks like your typical Halloween ghost to me - arms raised in the air so as to effect a better haunt, mouth open in a keening wail, two big ol' pop eyes at the top, and a shot gun blast to its middle (or possibly a PAINt ball blast, eh, Jo?) - but then, I have psychic powers and can see things that many people simply refuse to see, even though it is clearly there right in front of their durned skeptical faces.

Oh, and don't forget the bloody handpaints that scratched at the locked door trying to get out. Well, this IS out, so I guess they were trying to get in.
Looks like a bunnyface being shot by a PAINball yes i'm leaving off the T.
All paint-ful puns aside, I'm curious as to why they had to lock someone in there with a masterlock..
What's up with that lock anyhow? what's the thing hanging off to the left side?
It's a closet, not a seclusion room.
That thing hanging is probably what attached to the wall outside the door to keep it shut when locked...? maybe?
Lynne...it does look like a ghostie...more like a hand puppet ghostie! And, maybe thats not a bloody hand print, but EEEEW!!!
Pretty pretty pepto pink
Lynne, why put an observation window on a closet door? So you could check foe skeletons before you opened it?
Oh boy.
Lynne i hope you were joking about being a psychologist. It seems that you have a fixation with paint balls. I don't even want to know why.
Try Clozaril. It will do wonders for you and your psychosis.
P.S. Try QID.
I must have misspelled that. I MEANT proctologist. :-)

P.S. It's nice of you to diagnose and prescribe. It is appreciated. You have NO idea.
I'm laughing so hard here, I have to go change my Depends.
The room could've changed functions, of course... Might have been used for storage curing the clearing-out phase, and it would be an easy leap to using a master lock because the keys for the regular locks were unavailable.

Shawn: Even my Amateur Psychologist knowledge tells me that humor can be a tool to defuse tension. Looking at these pics causes tension. Lynne, who has provided some very good information in other galleries, is just having some fun with the subject matter while enjoying the pics. There's a lot of people who see some of these and immediately leap to assumptions of abuse, gross negligence, and horror movie stuff.
OK, now I am in love with balance. I know, I know - I'm cheap and easy and fall in love with someone new every few pages. But I DO so enjoy myself. :-)
I'm in love, too!
Ok so i'm a big jerk!
sorry Lynne.
Can you forgive me?
: )
P.S. Balance, I love you as well!
Consider it done.
Lynne your a trooper.
Sorry again for being a huge A - HOLE!
After i snooped around a bit on other photo things i found that you DO know your stuff and that it is i how has alot to learn. Thanks again for being so forgiving. You handled it alot better than i would have. BIG SMILES to you!!!
Shawn,

Actually, I was quite impressed with you - impressed that you would tell it like it is. As you know, everyone assumes that we in the mental health care field are not particularly nice people, so I am happy when someone else jumps in to clear things up. :-)
i have a sister who cares for those who are in need, the elderly and childern with disabilaties, she doeses this because she cares, i belive that most of the people who do this care ,there are a few exceptions. Thank You to all who do this for a living,so others can live.
Lynne and CSA,
With all due respect and without a doubt most of the folks who work in mental health facilities give a damn, but y'all did NOT know the cesspool that was Met State. Sure, there were some caring folks that worked there, but there also were psychotic psychiatrists, mental health workers who ripped off the patients and worse, much, much worse.
Patient X, every dog has its day. And your right ,there is always a rotten apple in every bunch. For one person who is caring there is five who dont. I hope all is well for you .
I need to hang around here more often. Thank you for the compliments. :)
i say "cat" in the glass! lol
Here's another picture I love! Pink is my favorite color, but it usually looks revolting in abandoned buildings because the paint has deteriorated for so long. But the colors really show well in this photo.
