I usually don't give these kind of comments, but this picture is just ~perfect~. The lighting, the colours, the background. Possibly my favorite in this gallery.
Now THIS is one damned scary pic! I love it!
I agree, this is another favourite for me too!
Really stunning, Motts!
The colour of the rusted ceiling tiles is great...added with the open screens, makes this a really nice shot!
Gosh! I love the colors! Absolutely beautiful. Wow.
That's really beautiful in a twisted odd way. It's like something out of an evil Alice and Wonderland yet it's peaceful as well....strange. Great shot!
I think that this one should be a wallpaper too, it is fantastic!!
Motts this reminds me of one of the screen shots I sent you from Dixmont.
Great shot.
i love this pic not sure why but something about it................
Kudos to the photo man. Great shot, outstanding color .
When you look at this pic, makes you wonder who opened them......was it human hands.......or ghostly hands....

Eerie!
Oh god Lynne I know... gonna have ta leave the nightlight on after SCARY >:o
god this looks almost like a video game. it just looks oh so perfect. wonderful blend of colors, a real treat for the eyes.
Motts, what an image! That is stunning. One of the best uses of colour I have ever seen in a photograph.
These pictures need to go on exibit somewhere ior put in alot of fantastic books.
This looks like a TB ward. Where the patients were able to get outside air.
Ah yeah so there was a porch in the middle of the ward?
It is known when someone opens a window, it improves the scenery and smell.....it's not going to work here obviously.
this place is scary as hell.
i've been there.
its fucking haunted.
I worked these wards as a high school/college student and wandered around a lot. Understand the comments about impact of visual pics, and agree they're impressive, but there was a lot of real life going on here - even I appreciated that at a young age. Just wanted to inject a real world thought in memory of the many folks that lived here in a different world.
One of my favourite photos ever. Its been my wallpaper for like three years now.
Shuffling down those lonely hallways and tunnels in a Halcion daze...the hissing radiators and steam pipes piercing my foggy brain.
A lot of sites have very similar windows with screens like this. It's really odd to me how similar these places are to each other after you've been to enough of them.
I don't see any thick metal grating. That alone lessens the creepiness. These seem to be normal screens.
