Oh, I love the colors and the textures!
Don't ask me how to explain this as I know NOTHING about photography..... but the light in this one somehow makes all the sharp angles and hard surfaces softer. The whole picture just looks.... soft. Very cool shot.
Maybe it's that fuzzy wall on the left, GERMS.
A little mold never killed anyone...wait...

Well, I agree with Lynne and Jude here! The colors and textures are amazing. The light does bring a sense of calm to the photo...beautiful.
Motts what kind of room is this? Like there bared windows to the right, a door which looks like a door to the outside and more what looks like windows the left. I can't think of any rooms that would look like this.
I love this picture

It looks like it should be a conservatory extension of a house, not part of a hospital. Make it a wallpaper?! :-D
I love the glass blocks. At my house, there is a doorway blocked up with glass blocks. It lets in a great amount of light in with neat shadows. I love the abstract mangling of the shadows and hall behind the glass blocks. NICE!
I think the fuzzy stuff is calcification build up on the bricks. If there is a high moisture exposure there, that is the result.
Perhaps this was a hall connecting two wards.
It looks like there is a face of someone in the window on the right. The 4th row from the top and second one over if you magnify the picture you can see it
