as pool shark this makes me very sad
I'm with you cg. Such a waste. But then waste seems to be a recurring theme in so many of these images.
This is a strange thing to be left behind, the company i currently work for is closing down my plant and moving the machines to another plant, anything that wont be nedded will be auctioned off, nothing left behind.
As of this wasent moving to another building, it was shut down. Sometimes the cost of manual labor moving things out of the building to sell them wouldnt be worth the profit.
were their any pool balls rolling aroud motts?....they'd be an interesting find i'd imagine
Keep in mind that these are government run facilities. Usually it is cheaper for them to buy new than to move something, and I doubt it even occurs to them to auction these things off & recoup some of the cost.
I think its actually interesting when they leave stuff behind so you see what kind of activities went on.
im realy suprized vandel's didnt take that...they'd take anything not bolted down even if it's not in any condition to keep they'd destroy it more....it realy is a wast =(
This was in the first room I walked into in the first building I visited.
If I was five pounds heavier (I weigh 185) I would've never seen this.
What's up with "BOO" !? Didn't one of the chairs in the window have "BOO" on it too ? What, are they trying to scare us ? Stupid.
Hey! Who's trying to cheat by tilting the table?!
Here in England, we play a game called snooker which is like a more complicated version of pool, played with smaller balls on a bigger table. A pro-quality snooker table has a base made of a single sheet of smoothed slate, and can cost up to £20,000 (that's about $35,000 US dollars). Not sure if pool tables are made likewise, but if so, that' some very expensive kit they left behind...!
What a shame! Someone should have known better.
Great! Now I can't play billiards! Whoever did that, THANKS A LOT!!!
