That is a great photo, it looks like something out of those "A seris of unfortunate events" children's books. Well done Mt Motts! :)
Cool photo,but a shame :(
That Motts IS a mountain of a man . . . . . =8-o
I agree with psychosurgeon...a real shame....but Motts, you caught the sun PERFECTLY!! Great pic!!! Beautiful!!!
*Lynne, dear.....ummmmmm......???*
Long Island called him "Mt. Motts" . . . . Guess he's kinda the Mt. Rushmore of urban photography. ;-)
"Mt. Motts"....oh man lmfao!!!

I'd hate to be around when this thing falls...hopefully that never happens! : )
My little Antonio, such a filthy mind! 8`-)
Mt. Motts? Dead Presidents, move over!!!!
LOL good catch guys! I just realized what I did. Hey, I was tired! I'd been up writing all night before I checked this out. Mt. Motts, LOL that is funny! :D
Sorry MR Motts!
Mt. Motts.............I sense the beginning of a recurring joke.
Lynne--"My little Antonio, such a filthy mind! 8`-)"
Who....ME?!?!?! Naaahhh...heehee.....(blushes)
*Actually, I had totally MISSED the "Mt." I thought you were making a "masked size remark".... : ' - )'*
Are those orbs? Sorry - Couldn't help it.
I could just die! Mt Motts oh my God that sounds so dirty and so wrong! I wish there was an edit on these things! LOL Motts I am so sorry about this! But it is funny in a humilating kind of way. :D
"Are those orbs? Sorry - Couldn't help it."

No, that's the "glare" from something called the "sun". It's a natural source of "light" and "energy". This is not meant as in insult, I just couldn't resist stating the obvious. Sorry if it comes across as rude.
The ultimate phallic symbol, and then it all comes tumbling down. Ain't that the way of life.
It was a joke....
Neat photo, amusing comments, haha.
Notice Motts hasn't commented on the joke :P
ah yes once more into the frey, thanks motts
damn, i havnt seen the power plant since it was torn down. thats wwweiiird

long time no post...lol...great shot motts.i wonder why they left it standind all alone??
this photo says a lot about america today. from a distance i imagine this lofty funnel looks awesomely impressive, as i imagine babel might have. the foundations are neglected and forgotten, grey and exposed. from this angle we can see, but are powerless to intervene.
This is probably where the cremated the bodies of paitents
LOL Joe, I bet Lynne is shaking in her shoes know that she knows that WE know!

lol j/k :)
Why is everybody so hung up on cremating bodies? I mean, isn't it a better use of resources just to Bar-B-Que them? Mmmm, delicious! Soilent Green is People!!!
Did all large buildings have their own personal power plants in the old days?
not all it depends what the building was used for
Lynne- Is this where they cremated the bodies of people who died during their torture sessions?? (just kidding... I hope!)
=8-o
yes sure tourture sessions
Really incredible, but I'm sure it's unsafe.
I agree with Dr. Sketch. I'll take mine Cajun crispy!
wait... if the plant was torn down or collapsed how did the stack stay up?
The answer is simple Jeremy, Viagra.
Hehe...
WHY?! WHY DID THEY MAKE IT INTO FUCKING CONDOS! BULLSHIT MAN!
i went to the condos and my friend lives in one . totally wish they didnt build those fucking things
Do all hospitals(State) have thier own power plants?
Yes most of them did, as these hospitals were quite large and needed their own steam supply to heat the massive buildings and their water supplies.
