This is a very beautiful picture Motts.. I was wondering tho...How exactly did you get up that high in the air to take this picture. I have been there once before but I dont remember there being a building there...

my mother worked here for many years, it was her first job and she worked till it was closed, but she always took us here and i've always loved it.
i'm wondering though since i have seen the no trspassing signs which were never there before, is there a very high risk of getting caught if you go?, because now that i'm older i've been itching to go

How far from the nearest town is this place? it feels secluded, and it's odd that there would be street lights operating for people who will never again need them.

Never the less, I'm sure it looks damn eerie through the windows. I'm itching to go myself, it it were at all possible.

If it wasn't for the windows on the right of it, it would look creepier to me as being all stone and coldness.

My dad lives right across the river from Pennhurst. It is kinda behind an army reserve base so the MP patrol around it. Close to pennhurst the are building an old folks home for veterans. I just saw one of the former patients Saturday who now lives under the Spring City bridge.

Now its patrolled by security and the natinal guard facility can be heard nearby. Some crazy stuff hapend at pennhurst.

AGAIN there is a "ghost" in the picture! OMG I think this guy purposely does some kind of visual effect! there is some kind of ghost in every picture I swear! All of these picture on here look like pictures from a movie set, they are very dramatic and creepy beyond words, I think somebody should make a movie about this place, it sure as hell is creepy enough, and anyways they would already have the scenery for it!

this biulding is full of energy ..from people/kids that died there from mental problems and staff abuse..its sad that they had taken those people's teeth out as a punishment for biting...
