I worked at BSS in the 70's and started out by volunteering at dances held weekly in this building. It was rather bland back then; decay has really given it character! I worked in C,D, F, G, and the infamous K Building, torn down as a symbolic act when BSS was still open. K housed profoundly retarded men. Any chance you'll be exploring any other buildings? Some are actually in use as town offices, schools, etc, but others remain empty. I love your site and visit it often.

Steve I think they put up a web cam to monitor Spider Gates. They might also have a web site I believe. Have you ever been?

The tar roof on this place must have been in really poor condition before final closure.

hey i went into BSS at night with a couple of my friends and did u know that there is a room entirely filled with light bulbs like so filled that you cant even go inside.

i went in Meadow school once and there were lights flickering on and off and i got the crap outta thee. Then when i went to Berkshire the bathrooms were hauntedand had bloodstains on the ceiling (water stains)
