I couldn't resist being the first comment on a photo =D
That's one dusty old projector, wonder what kind of films it would show back in it's hayday.
Its probably how they taught sex ed
; )
talking about precision ... the focus is very nice ...
I used to take people from E Building to the movies here. I remember seeing "The Love Bug", "Daniel Boone",and "The Wizard of Oz", among others. I also remember it being very noisy, with staff being too busy trying to keep people in their seats to be able to watch any of the movie themselves (which is just as well if it's "The Love Bug")
Here on Ebay is a picture of an ad for this projector. Just thought it may be of interest.

I remember these projectors from grade school. They were really noisy and when they ran for a long period of time it got really really hot and you couldn't touch the thing for an hour afterward or you lost skin on your hands (ahhh the good old days)
I see now my comment identifying the projector in the previous picture was not necessary LOL. Sorry....Great site, and wonderful pictures, thank you!
I found one of these as well and appears to be in great condition. Is there any maket (collectors) for these?
Oh My God!
Motts your photographs bring joy and fear to my heart, just incredible!! do you sell your photographs? because in my opinion you must be a professional photographer! I'm nothing but a beginner with a daily life digital camera, hopefully one day I'd be as good as you are (yeah right!).

to be honest I really love this photograph, and the whole website, I can't Believe I stumbled upon this website by mistake!!
I've always had this passion about abandoned buildings (for the story they tell) just brings fear to my heart what humans can do. I cannot thank you enough for this fantastic website!!!
this is so weird we wonder what they are going to do with it when they tear down the buildings
I have one of these wonderful machines, and we actually USE it. It sounds like a Sunbeam Mixmaster and gives off an aroma of burning dust, hot film and lubricating oil, which is instantly recognizable to any boomer as "projector smell". It brings me crashing back to junior high, with its coincident odors of pencil sharpener shavings and chalk dust. Simply wonderful.
