I used to take people from E Building to the movies here. I remember seeing "The Love Bug", "Daniel Boone",and "The Wizard of Oz", among others. I also remember it being very noisy, with staff being too busy trying to keep people in their seats to be able to watch any of the movie themselves (which is just as well if it's "The Love Bug")

I remember these projectors from grade school. They were really noisy and when they ran for a long period of time it got really really hot and you couldn't touch the thing for an hour afterward or you lost skin on your hands (ahhh the good old days)

Motts your photographs bring joy and fear to my heart, just incredible!! do you sell your photographs? because in my opinion you must be a professional photographer! I'm nothing but a beginner with a daily life digital camera, hopefully one day I'd be as good as you are (yeah right!).

I have one of these wonderful machines, and we actually USE it. It sounds like a Sunbeam Mixmaster and gives off an aroma of burning dust, hot film and lubricating oil, which is instantly recognizable to any boomer as "projector smell". It brings me crashing back to junior high, with its coincident odors of pencil sharpener shavings and chalk dust. Simply wonderful.
