This room definatly doesn't have the charm of say, the hallway shots you took, which were beautiful, but I must say, I'm liking the tiling on the floor.

Could be that too. A jukebox would fit nicely in that picture. I thought of the barbershop first, as my earliest memory of going to one, had that same floor design, as did a record shop that my aunt used to frequent. It was a common design at the time.

They used to do that at Vanderbilt University Hospital. It was very helpful to those of us who got lost all the time. :-)

Alot of the huge facilities are still doing it and it is helpful. I saw those color lines and I just had to post that. L-O-L!

I honestly want to cry, green does not come after blue. This is the saddest attempt for a rainbow ever. The color spectrum does not work that way.

boring wall, cheap tile, and with a sad 70's era attempt at brightening up the surroundings. the rainbow looks just as depressed as most of the inmates must have been. i can see why you shyed away from this part of the facility.
