Great texture, lighting and colour! And I've always loved those old drawer pulls, which have made a come-back in today's interior designs.
Hey...you guys think that the cubbyholes from before were supposed to have drawers on them, too?
No I think perhaps those were storage shelves Valatiel, just my guess though.
emphasis on the "mental"...;-D
Great long angle! Did you use the wide angle lens for this one? Hard to tell.
Only one drawer has a handle... must have been difficult to open the others....
this place is beginning to remind me of Pennhurst!
makes me wonder what they kept in them, did you try and open them Motts?
Nah, the place was pretty cleaned out so I assumed they were all empty... plus I'm not sure I'd have the patience to go through all the drawers in the entire place!
I would compulsively search through every drawer if it took me all day! That's one of the reasons I don't go into places like this in the first place!
I'd have nothing better to do and too driven in interest to find something. Always dying to find a folder with some interesting things in it.
Motts, YOU DIDN'T OPEN ONE DRAWER?????
It would interest me to know just why the handles were left on the one drawer and why only one is open?
This is a great example of why abandoned buildings are so beautiful. Look at that texture. People go to great lengths to reproduce this look. Nature does it without a second thought. You gotta respect that.
I also would have gotten every one of those drawers open. Nothing in there, nothing in there, nothing in there, nothing in there...

[an hour later]...

...and finally -- nothing in there. At least I would know.
