Observation Hole

Observation Hole

None of these bedroom doors had the observation glass still intact, but the texture and weathered look reminded me of the doors at Northwood.

Nobody noticed the little face in the hole?
It reminds me of a jack-o-lantern.
puddleboy, stop it you are scaring me :-)
No glory hole jokes? Hmmm, classy crowd!
This picture reminds me of birch trees. And, I, too see the Jack O' Lantern, PB.
Deja Vu from Northwood! I see the face also. Great image invokes the imagination.
I agree, looks like a birch tree, i almost expected woody woodpecker to jump out. ahahaahaha
Agreed, Twug! This shot remides me of birch trees...but...I don't see a Jack O'Lantern...SAD! LoL!
Jack-o-lantern?
I'm not seein' it
Where have you been, young man? >:-(

I was missin' you! 8`-(
Not as much as I've been missing you, Lynne :-)

and everyone else
hey Grifspop come over the the forum
DannyBManny,

This joint housed females, so a GH wouldn't be much use!
Absolutely a Jack 'O" Lantern staring from within. Have to look at it with an open open mind.
Ah, but Max, what about the staff?
A good portion of it must have been male... LOL

Of course, they'd have had to have been REALLY inventive with their excuses as to why they were always standing around in the hallways on top of stools in the middle of the night.
Wow, very nice shot.

Emotion provoking, imagining the late night staff giving a smile as they checked in on their charges or the paitents looking out in the early morning for breakfast.
it would be so intresting to actually watch...but at the same time sad, and creepy. ir thinhk of beeing on the other side... this is a strong Photo...and it makes me think =]
peek-a-boo
There is something about this that reminds me of a birdhouse, especially with the crack that resembles a tree branch running along side. Where the red-headed woodpecker? teehee
Grrrr...now you guys got me thinking about Glory Holes...

Can you imagine sticking ANYTHING into that hole now--even a FINGER...you would get lead poisoning from that paint...nevermind on...well....those more sensitive parts...

WTF? I WAS being so good...now you've gone and put my mind in the gutter...well...nevermind. I guess it was already there, just in denial about it.

HAHAHAH good pic Motts!
So there is glass in the holes. In the first shot of the door like this it appeared that there was none. I thought that putting one's eye up to a hole with a violent patient inside would be a bad idea. That patient could be waiting for such a moment with a serious finger jab.

Ouch!
