The chairs are definiltely the rock stars -- besides Lynne, of course!
Great shot Motts!! Love the colors on this one!
going crazy with the chairs in this place huh? haha those folders in the bottom left of the picture... were those just more of the same? lawsuits and records and whatnot? That wall in the back there adds a great touch, the boards slowly succumbing to time, revealing the raw skeleton within the wall.
YAY!!!!!!!!!! lonley chair shot it rocks motts!!!
Motts is the rock star. Janice, it's true that he really does play drums in a metal band!
whats all over the chair? Cottage cheese?
No, the darker stuff on the chair must be the original cover detiorating.

My mom used to have chairs with the same covers from the 70's. They were plastic made to look like i guess leather but with a plastic feel to them. They were horrible in the summertime. I remember them falling apart in the same fashion.

But for some reason, when i see this pic, the scene "Beauty School Dropout" and the song come into my head!!

Great pic as well!!
Motts, what is it with you and chairs? You've reached the point where chairs are practically the first thing that comes to mind when people think of you. It's like this:

Chairs=Motts
It's the Session 9 "syndrome"
The mess on the floor beneath the chair reminds me of the discarded skin from a fish fillet.
the dots on the wall??? What are they ??
Glue spots for the tiles.
Hey! I've taken a giant leap lately in my explorations, and happened to wander upon this crazy place today - it seems as though the university is doing some major clean up on some of the buildings, but then not on others at all. your shots are all I can find of it online so far, and I didn't go inside it so I only have a few. of the exteriors. I'll be posting them somewhere soon...Thanks for having created and maintained the best abandoned places site on the web. I cannot imagine how you manage to get around like you do!
How pleasant.
with the files on the floor...i guess this place never had to worry about HIPPA. heh.

awesome fotos!
are those boxes of files on the floor in front of the chair?
Whoa, are those boxes of files?
Waaaant!
ya. it would be very interesting to go through those. of course if they hadnt been rotted to crap.
