I keep thinking of an abandoned city with these shots! They're wonderful!
I would LOVE to have had a tour of this place in it's heyday.
That's it , Bri!! An abandoned city, but in the back lot of Paramount
Exactly, Ragdolledwahine!
P.S.- it's supposed to be BRI for the above post...whoops! I got too excited!
wow!... amazing!... i would love, absolutely LOVE to have been w/ you that day to see this place.. though i probably would have been caught. I'd be too busy standing in one spot, and gawking and staring to know to run away!
Me too, Chrissie!
Motts, I love your sense of asymmetry in this shot! It's freaky that the lines *almost* line up.....
Absolutely beautiful ! Feels like I am standing right in the trench.
Looks like a movie set, something out of Terminator IV...
The trench is for railroad cars.It was a door level loading dock.It was used in the days before multi-level auto rack rail cars,to load set-up automobiles into Box cars.
Any idea what the multi level platforms were used as ? there seem to be numerous observation type decks with railings installed about 15 feet above the floor level ?
Wow, this place is massive! This is a really cool gallery!
