Very dramatic...fantastic.
It looks so real..... she's gone from this world!
Mr Motts you are a genius.this photo makes ya think..
Motts, I HAVE to ask...the stain above her head...did you put it there for this shot, or was it there? It makes it look so dang realistic! Excellent...
*You don't have to "give up the ghost" if you don't want to.....
Yeah there was some extra fake blood (syrup) from a previous film laying around her house so we brought it along.
Well at least these days, fake blood actually LOOKS like blood. Great shot!
Absolutely brilliant, Motts!
Motts, that's a beautiful, but very creepy shot.
I say it again - talent to burn.
I'm hipnotised, hipnotised so bad I can't spell it :)
Fantastic.
muy buena la imagen, me encanta
Wow...

Ok...side question...
Do you guys make your own fake blood? The way it photographs is beautiful. Ok, so now I sound weird but I love stage makeup and such and I really love that blood. I really do sound like a weird-o but you guys know I'm not! Honest! :0) Anyways, if you have the "receipe" I would love it!
Candace made it for a film project, it involves some sort of syrup but I don't know the exact recipe.
S'okay Bri, we knows ya and loves ya just as ye are!
Awww...thank ye kindly, Jude! I have the warm-fuzzies! :0)
Motts man these are great i love them all.
I can't help wondering... how brave she was to lay there inside that DIRTY biologically hazardous tub.
Ah, I guess we'd all do that in the name of art?
After 13 years of disuse, I don't think any bacteria would survive. I wouldn't ask anyone to interact with hazardous waste.
Hipolytha: bacteria grows best in warm moist places, I believe that Mr. Motts had stated that Candace about froze doing these shoots, so not likely she is going to catch anything 8-)
the end of resitance. the end of pain,
Wonderfully full of emotion, I love the realistic looking blood, and how it was pooling into the drain and not just poured in some straight line like some cheap 2 dollar horror film.
that is scary.
Time to take her down to the morgue for a few shots.
This is so realistic! This so awesome Motts! Your site is the only one I really have become obessed with! I am really into Gothic and Candice in this gallery reminds me of a beautiful Gothic spirit angel walking through the halls of enchantment.
In this pix, it seems as if some melevolent spirit of the past has bashed her head in and threw her in the tub. and that blood is so real looking. This is downright chilling!
genius genius
This is so awesome! She had spunk to lay in that tub. She seem as if she died and now laying for her prince to kiss her back to life. That blood cascading into the tub drain is so awesome. So life-like.
The blood is great but, how about the way the light glows off her skin with an opal tint. Now that is amazing.
So disturbing, like the cadaver of a young women in the morgue. Life, but no life, history but no history. The photo relays the depth of it all. Much more than I expected. The series said a lot more than realized. Again, good show, Motts.
this picture is so very disturbing, but so artistic!!
you really have some talent, keep it up man!
Woo-hoo. Hollywood-esque talents if I've ever seen them. I am incredibly jealous!!!!!!!
Did your model have to lay in this discusting tub? Cause if it was really that gross, Kudos to her. Damn, I couldn't do that.
i've got to say but this photograph terrifys me!!....very realistic
yeah i agree with benji and the others, what fortitude it must have taken to lay in that filth ridden bath tub. absolutely never would i do that.
i love this photo, it looks like shes really dead in the bathtub, about to come back to life and eat people.... always good to see a photograph that captures the emotion of the scene.... and hiiii twin!! glad it scared u ; ) xxx
I love how there are spots of blood on the edge of the tub. Kind of like someone carried her into the tub, you know?
i hope you left the 'blood' there. that'd give the next people in there something to talk about....

oh, and i keep expecting her eyes to pop open. thanks for that...
Bri - I have used simple red food coloring in light corn syrup, it works very well. My guess is that's what Candace used. Under the brand name Karo syrup, you can get it in any grocery store in the syrup aisle.
was this self inflicted...
R.I.P
effin brilliant Motts!! Effin brillant!!
She looks as if she awaits the embalmer.
wow...this looks so real..its like i cant atke my eyes off of it....amazing once again.
whoa...looks like she's bleeding from the head-Awesome shot!
my english teachers face was priceless when he saw this
absolute horror
Like something off an Evenesscence video
love the horror in the shot
KEEP UM COMING
her mouth wouldnt be completely closed and somewhat tight like that if she were unconscious, but i like the overall idea of the image.
How could you be so trite? That's serious disrespect to those who suffered & died there. Maybe if you were ever a victim of such treatment, then you would have the right. But since you know nothing of suffering...how dare you?!
motts i love ur work usually but this one and the next one I think are really quite distasteful!
