Wow, paper still on the roll...
The paper looks pristine compared to its surroundings.
aw man!! I hate that crunchy paper at the doctors office!! That stuff sucks!
Dr. Sketch might like to save that kind of stuff... ;-)

It's a common item in an examination room, but a morgue? Seems a bit flimsy for preventing seepage.
Perhaps that's why there was the waxy coating? To help with retaining whatever moisture the body might exude? Lynne? Any ideas?
None I want to examine more closely. =8-o
Ok, the sick horror/suspense movie fan in me thinks "Hmmm....waxed paper for the pieces parts for Hannibal Lecter's gourmet dinners."

Sorry, I know that was really morbid.
WAWAWAWAWAWAWAWA!!!!!! 8`-)

"Rest in pieces"
Seeing as how ive never been to a morgue, I would have never guessed that you could possibly find wax paper there. Go figure
Wrap up your sammiches for you, anyone?
ROMFL! But wax paper in a morgue?
Please!!! My co-workers are all looking at me funny....sitting here laughing out loud at my desk......(muuhuhahahahahaaa)
Ick!!! You said *seepage* Something about that word just makes my stomach turn!
Tony, sorry to get you in trouble at work hon.......but I was going through Dr. Snoopy Sketch's toys and found this for you. It should help whilst you are viewing our comments at work.

http://www.occasionalh...Mute's%20Bridle
If I hadn't failed GCSE Chemistry and the like, I would have loved to work in a morgue... alas, it's never going to happen :-(
Jude....WHOLLY HECK! OMG! 80o
Ah, the Mute's Bridle... Most useful when someone has been very naughty, much too naughty to get a regular ball gag... Will it surprise anyone that I actually have this?
Oh dearest Dr.S, why doesn't that surprise me? We should ask of your inventory.... "what DON'T you have?"
Anyone who wants a tour of my inventory just has to ask... I'll even give demostrations! :D
Wax paper is often used in labs dealing with cell cultures. Especially labs using PVA as it prevents cell adhesion. This would fit with the room having the appearance of a morgue but without the table.
this is the morgue... first room i found last night. this place was great, not all that creeoy though. expected it to be
how the hell is that paper so clean...
Talk about HUGE rolling papers?
quite odd that the paper is so clean. and you say the mourge wasnt that creepy? weird considering every aspect of this hospitals seems creepy to me
I find it suprising no jerk teenagers stole all of that wax paper. Good thing they didn't, it makes for a killer photo.

Is it just because I'm normally very easily confused or did that previous post make absolutely no sense?

Just a moment, I need to wrap up this sandwich...

i can't believe that after so long the paper and that cardboard box is still intact. nature is crazy
you, my friend, do some amazing work. i have always been interested in abandoned buildings, especialy mental wards, but never found a site that shows the stuctures as they were left. the images are so real that i feel like a patient. this is my first time on this site and i have been on it for about 4 hours. very well put together. thank you for sharing your findings with the rest of us.
bahaha I have the urge to grab the end of the paper and run down the hall till the end of the roll!!! What fun that would be!!
Did you want that corpse "TO GO"?
I HAVE NEAVER SCEANE WAX PAPER USED,AND IT LOOKS NEW.
What else would you wrap up the body parts in, tin foil?
looks like paper towels
