I'da been drinking bud to calm my nerves. That's one creepy ass place!
goes to show how time really changes things...... These builiding didn't look like this at all when i worked there the last two years before they closed down.
how could you have worked there its a freak show
Gabby, if you're looking for a freak show, I can send you to one that's actually pretty durned close to where you are right now . . . .
thanks but no thanks lynne
Open and well lit. The box is okay.
its sad to see these buildings in such terrible condiotion i thing it would make a great hotel. it should be renovated.
there should have been a care taker hired keeping maintence up on these buildings so they would not be in the condition they are in know. plus a caretaker would have guarded the buildings from vandals.
the box adds to the picture it's a bit of life in a lifeless place
Part of the reason these hospitals became so overcrowded and never had enough funding for quality treatment is because too many "normal" people think of people with mental illness as "weird" or "a freak show."
what a shame to see these buildings so run down. a caretaker should have been hired to keep the maintence up on these buidings and to protect them from vandals.
My mom worked here a longgg time ago
I was in these building s about 9 years ago, and they did' not look too bad some paint and minor maintence go's a long way, a care taker would have been a good idea, there are so many people that need housing and all these buildings just sitting there, rotting ! what a waste,..
