Holy Shit, Mr. Motts, I need to stop trying to pick my favorite hallway shot, they all fuckin' rule!!! ;-)
This is a dark one! Boy it'd sure be easy to walk right into one of those hanging light fixtures if you weren't watching out.
Hanging light fixtures? What are these things you speak of? All I see are a few soap dispensers...
Ahh, the depths. I suppose this shot was taken in a lower level of the building? Just a hunch.
Second floor, I believe.
this shot is amazing!! i would love to have the courage and ability to go into abandoned buildings. I find myself strangely drawn to them and everything that could have happened within those walls
Motts lets us see so much thru his eyes and his lens. He is a brave and good soul. Thank you again, and again.
Hey Motts, it looks as if something/someone has been hanged at the end of the hallway
Wow,
and yet, another amazing photograph. I dont think words could express how wonderful and unique your photos are. They have this sense of passion for what you are doing, you can feel it and see it in your work.
Kitty, it was a light fixture, there's one hanging in the center of the hallway too... I think the closest one was still lit too!
the light fixture hanging in the back looked like a body, wen i took a quick glance
Love the shot
If those light fixtures could talk...I'd really like to know their stories.
Amazing photos, I've always wanted to go into buildings like this [During the daytime, of course!] Thanks for giving us a glimps into these darkened bulidings.
Apparently in one mental hospital there are still twisted poetry on the floor, left there from the patients, and you can still go read them. I don't remember where though...
Best of luck with your photography!
