Beautiful shot! It makes me look back at myself to see what is underneath all of the "stuff" we have on the surface...
Wow - it would be cool to use that windowframe as a frame for a mirror or photo.
It's sorta a lone chair shot.
Beautiful texture on this one, and the symmetry of the various lines and right angles in juxtaposition with the randomness of the flaking paint is neat.

Wow.. I used the word 'neat'. My apologies.
I think this is my favorite shot from this gallery. So many impressions can be taken from this shot. It's "message" is very ambiguous, but it's definitely a shot that says something about the artist and about the building.
You always take such awesome close-ups Motts, this is wonderful.
I love this picture
I don't belong in here, doc! I been framed!
Good one Max! That frame would make a great frame for a picture.
I know of a certain rabbit that'll look real nice in there.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
you always capture the majesty of decay
perfect , you captured insanity might actually look like from the patients perspective
i did not know that they would frame observation windows in wood.
There is a face in the window....look closely.....
I can sure see a face in that frame. Looks like it could be female. Now that is freaky!
Yes, the woman remains trapped behind the glass barrier, as sanity is trapped in her mind, while the world around her decays and peels away.
Here's to you looking at me looking at you.
i wonder what was on the other side...did you look Motts?
Brilliant shot. You find those true works of art in the most unlikely places. Thank you!
love the texture of the wall and the colours
I definately see a woman in there... I thought it was a little painting at first. That is ridiculousy creepy...
*first comment here after seeing some of these in a magazine*
This picture literally made my jaw drop. Congrats on amazing pictures, all of them.
ddddddddo yyyyyyou ssssssee tttthat fffface (studdering unstopably)
That white paint looks a lot like a dangerous type of mold.
Blech!
Greeaaaat shot!
This shot actually scares me for some reason.
Not the thrilling kind of scare , but the one that hits the back of your throat, before it knocks you flat.
Beautiful composition... the light is lovely, and I adore the mix of stillness and anxiety in this shot.
It looks kinda like a skull in a way but i love the perspective of this photo
Wonderful composition. I'm a photographer, and I wish I can have the chance to get into one of the places, even just for the feel of being in somewhere that contained so many lives and stories.
