Flea Market

Flea Market

Some of these halls seemed to have been used as an auction area, the signs on the doors read "kitchenware" and "hardware". The ground floor was so full of furniture that it was difficult to walk through!

Motts, is that a piano, or does it just look like one?
Nah just some desks and random things.
Thanks!
typo alert... did you mean "auction" Motts?
Thanks tawlgurl
My pleasure... great site, I visit all the time.
Wonderful shot, Motts!
On the topic of typo's, about 10 pictures back did you mean to name the picture "Prism" instead of "Prisim"? Sorry just couldn't help noticing that =)
That thing in the hallway looks like some kind of creeping techno-spider, just waiting to pounce on unsuspecting explorers...
The grate in that window creates a kind of Moiré in the small thumb. Nice.
Prisim=wrong Prism=right. Plexiglass=wrong, Plexiglas=right. ares=ours, might of=might have, I have more just refer to my handy condensed guide posters lol
Wow, I guess they didnt sell alot of stuff at the auction.
it is simply amazing how quickly these places deteriorate once they are no longer inhabited. i can imagine walking these halls now, exposes the visitor to many hazards(lead paint and asbestos)
Oh my are you the Pete Moss from my old school? lol

yes there really was someone named Pete Moss...
hello barbara
peat moss is a nickname i earned at a workplace in maine
would you have a connection there?
LOL no I really, really, really doubted there was a connection, but I was just about to say I knew someone that actually had the Pete Moss xD

That is too funny! It does look a little like a big creature from a B grade horror film.
Oh what was his parents thinking? Oh Lordy! Let's see how many times Pete Moss can be beaten on the school playground in a year. Poor Soul.
I wonder if his dad's name was Sphagnum , maybe he just wanted to keep it in the family
RLMAO!!! "Sphagnum"
LOL no he really wasn't unpopular...I mean yeah people cracked jokes about ti but not maliciously. But yeah I don't know what his parent's were thinking...
Is his brother's name Spanish, then?
is that a stuffed animal in the lower right corner? it looks like a pink bunny
It is very possible that they ran a flea market in here once.
They possibly held an auction to sell off funiture etc just prior to closing this facility?
i keep seeing a phantom piano at the end of these hallways
