The architecture is stunning.
It really, really is!
This puts me in mind of several of your other psychiatric hospital galleries. I really love the feeling and mood of these.
One again, the duel focal points. I love it.
i would love to see pictures when this place was in use. It must have been stunning.
How is there so much dirt on these floors? I don't remember the other sites being this bad... I'd be sweeping in there for weeks!
I don't think anybody goes in there barefoot
Couldn't you just see a beautiful Giant X-mas tree in that big window??? I mean after it was all cleaned up by Sketch..
It's just like walking outside barefoot, a little dirt and glass will never hurt you.
I think I might need a hand for this one... A few shovels, someone running the dirt out in a wheelbarrow, then a few brooms and mops, we should have it cleaned out in a few days. Plenty of time for a tree and decorations. What are ya gettin me? :D
Everybody knows I'm good with shovels. (LOL)
Well I ain't getting you ~Me, that's for sure!
just get a few good heavy duty shop vacs and it will be done in less that a day
Just put a couple of rugs down and keep everything under the rugs.
I dunno, I think it would bug me too much knowing that dirt was under the rugs...
Where is ~Me, by the way? Haven't seen her around...

Anyways, I jsut love this 2 point shot! Those arches are fantabulous! I can jsut imagine that little area off to the left being a quaint little sitting room.
I agree Anna, I'd kill to see pics of this place in use! And Barbara, isn't that the truth.....a great sitting area. Lovely!
love those arches
The archway is so awesome as well as the reflection of light dancing in a downward motion. I can picture myself sitting in that sunny room, among other mental patients, maybe reading a grand old novel! What thrill!
THE ARCHWAY IS ASTOUNDING. NOBODY DESIGNS LIKE THIS ANYMORE.
It look like it were taken from an odd nightmare.
this archway is stunning. I like how the light's reflection off the wall is waning and soon to be faded from view. It is sad in a way, just like some of the yesteryear patients, some fading from view in time.
''the house is drowning in sands!!!''
my impression for this stunning artwork.
I don't think it's dirt, but rather stuff from the rotting ceiling and peeling walls
I have a "thing" for arches and old architecture. These photos are fantastic.
LOVE how open it is!
Love the Architecture of this building.
Absolutely beautiful shot. Just incredible.
I LOVE this! Wish I had an arch like this in my house!
I would love to know where this place is. I have been obsessing over it for a few months now.
I dont know why but this one i really like.
Hollywood in its' best attempt could never replicate the solitude & atmosphere of this photoset-- extraordinary Mr. Motts~!
But it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Architects + builders of this had ideas and visions of beauty and meant well. How was anyone to know it would turn out differently? How well you have captured the sagacity and craftmenship of the creators. May you always be well is my daily wish.
