Very interesting composition.
Whoa! A machine named Terry.
Terry! We were wondering where you've been all these years! Call home for heavens sake!
I was going to say no graffiti anywhere! Then Terry shows up. Very neat though and definitely wasn't out to destroy the place.
I don't think that is graffiti....I think that is actually on the machine itself and it was meant to be there. Otherwise, dang, that is one really good 3-D graffiti "artist".
I dunno...I'm questioning myself now...my eyes really do suck...they lied when they said I had 20/20 vision! Humm... :0/
Yeah - that's the manufacturer's name, cast into the casing of the pump...
Why, thank you very much! I thought I was going goofy! LoL!
Great, Motts....awesome!
Back to the debate-
is Terry a girl machine or a boy machine?
Humm...I'm thinking Terry is a girl because she looks like she ran a lot of things and was a great motivator. I think she was also very vital to the life of the other "less able" machines being the "I'm big and tough...hear my motor," which I'd consider to be the male machines. LoL!
In other words, "A man is the head of the house, but the woman is the neck and she can turn the head any way she wants." Now just put that into this context and you have your solution...
I was thinking "spin cycle", my wife won't let me touch the washing machine....
LoL! Does she not want you to break it? LoL! Aww...
(254PM) I was thinking male....Terry's arms are doing two different things at once....You know, multi-tasking, like us guys always do.....<never finishing all the projects we tend to start at the same time...>
Terry is a steam turbine, there is one exactly like it with the Terry logos and all attached to the boiler feedwater pump at the old gasworks in Seattle WA
Yeah, Bri, my wife is always afraid I'll overload the washer and break it, so I don't get to do laundry.....Dang....

I think Tony C. is right, Terry does seem to be doing many things at once, kinda like watching the game and drinking beer at the same time....must be a guy thing.
Knows, thanks for the info! Now I know Terry is actually a guy! "Gasworks" says it all! LoL!
I have seen it. Terry is a steam engine company from the 1800's they died out cause of newer ways to generate electricty but it is till the most effective way.
Nice composition and lighting, and black-and-white was a great film choice!
Just an altogether amazing shot........thanks!
Good Colour !! heheheh
