creepy
Oh wow...lol
What the effff!!!
That is so morbid. Creepy as hell. I wonder if that was the mindset of a lot of the people trapped here
I am betting large sums of money that this was written on the wall after the place was closed. Very large sums of money. Bags and bags and bags of money. :-)
How fitting.
I agree with Lynne about the timing, but for grafitti, it's rather understated. Again, this photo looks like an amazing painting. These have to be the best photos I've ever seen. Do you sell prints?
Yes, I believe that Lord Motts does sell prints, but I am holding out for the books.

:)
Note that this is written above the sunlight. Could very well be that a couple kids were in here drinking, and one of them passed out, and laid down in the ray of sunlight. His (her?) buddy wrote that above them, to be funny.
I agree with Lynne.....alTHOUGH......Sounds almost like you were there....hMMMM?....? ; )
Puddleboy, do you write from personal experience or are your sleuthing skills just second-to-none?

But yeah, I'm definitely with Lynne either way :-)
I've been studying human behaviour for many years. The Aquarian mind takes to doing things like that.
What strikes me here is the simplicity of the writing, its gentle sweeping...and then the star on the end. Whatever it was meant for, it is beautiful.
Now Tony, are you gently suggesting I wrote this? ;-)
hoe lee shit
why would one capitalize the S in see, but not the I at the beginning?
Illiteracy? (If that's how it's spelled).
Could be part of lyrics? Here's a song by OminousNJ that uses it. Some of their songs really suck, but some of them seem pretty good.

THE SLEEPER

Take This Life
Throw It Away
I can feel You
Take This Smile
Throw It Away
I can Feel You

I know The Pain
I can See You Dying
I know Your Hate
I can see your Dreaming
Falling Into Your Faithfulness in Dying
Your Love Your Hate
Falling Dreams Are Crying

Hate Your Love
Hate Your Lies
Hate everything from inside
Hate Your Love
Hate your Lies
Everything from Inside

I see the Pain
In Your Eyes
Tell Me Why
We Must Die------

Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Sketch: that is quite a poem, did the writing on the wall inspire it or did you all ready have it down on paper????
Rtotten, it is not a poem by Dr. Skecth but lyrics from a song by OminousNJ
you know if I would have read the whole post, I would have caught, that, just another blonde moment for me!! 8-)
Yeah, mine aren't nearly that good... You can check out the Asshat Poetry in the forum, in offtopic, under "Dark Writings of the Kindred Asshats", there are some really good ones in there!
this place is sexy
this one is scary...i didnt know u posted on this site dan do u have griser (sp?) for eng?
this pic... it just gets to you... you first see it and you think shit! makes you think someone actually died there or something strange happened there. and why the hell am i looking at these pic's before i go to bed? i must be mental! its 2:40am and im tired yet im too freaked to sleep after seeing some of these photos! it is a really good shot though! amazing feeling and sense captured there...
they should tear down every last building... they serve no purpose, except to lure people that have nothing else better to do but to the site to break in. Chances are that comment above in the pic was writen by some idiot who broke into the place. let the poor souls that were there rest.
Glad I'm not "the only smart one." Even I can't manage that level of arrogance, and ignorance.
i can see me dying too
(mabey were psycic)
I object to the "tear down every last building" comment. Most of the buildings at KPPC can still be renovated if we just get past our penchant to keep erasing our history. Will it be cheap? NO! But it will cost almost as much to tear down everything because of the 100% abatement that has to be done. In a renovation you only have to abate (or encapsulate) EXPOSED asbestos, not the stuff hidden inside walls.
By far, one of my favorites
I think its definitely graffiti.. but I kinda wish it was something more interesting.. =/
so sinister and evil..
I don't think whoever wrote this ever grasped the irony of the statement. With these photographs and all who see in person the buildings, the words make perfect sense. We can all see you (the buildings) dying.
I feel like someone is watching me through the black doorway. SCARED !
Comforting.
Remember Bowie's lyrics?
"I must have died alone,a long long time ago"
Anyway that sunlight will shift up and down even side-to-side.
Oh wow....

This is amazing.
@ the only smart one

Do you know what kind of historical value the whole Hospital has? Decades and decades of history! They just couldn't tear it down like that!

As for the picture. I agree that it might of been written after the place has been abandoned. But I do wish that it was written when Hospital still had activity.
this place wont get torndown anytime soon if i had the money i would by the land and spend time of removeing asbestos le and anything else that bad 4 u and i would turn the place into a musiem or something and just rentvate the buildings rather then tering them down liek they did to edgewood that was a waste to do when the buildings could have been fixed up
I'm thankful for people like you Motts, who go into these places and take photos for the rest of us to see.

I love these photos but I wouldn't last more than a second if I tried to go in there.

Thank you =]
Gee, that'll make you think, huh? LOL!
Yikes! Lighten up whoever wrote that lol
to xMikex,

they lowercased the i because it showsthe contrast between people and their actions like "iMAGINE" as in I imagine
To "the only smart one"

Dearie, if you are so opposed to this, why are you on this site? My goodness, chances are you are just some mean spirirted person who spends too much time on the interent, trying to offend and put down others' hard work. Maybe because you're too cowardly to do it in person?

Sweetheart, get a life.
Why look up something you don't like?

Try myspace. There are ignorant people all over it you can bond with.

Just don't bother with mine. It's private, anyway.
That is absolutely Beautifull!
Whoa.

Cool.
haha...very cool.
i bet someone put that there just to scare people that go through this place. Etheir way really creepy
I really love this picture, Motts. I wish there was a wallpaper for it.
well thats just disturbing. :/
That's exactly the kind of thing my best mate and I would've scrawled when we were in our early teens. Complete with the cute little star and the cack-handed attempt at arty writing :p

Brilliant photo though; I adore the way the light draws your eye up to the (albeit a bit daft) dark statement.
This place hasnt been abandoned very long... why is it so crappy? Apparently they shut this place down level by level, and u could break in and see patients walking around or some crazy crap, and theres medical records in the wooods, its crazy shit.
I love the graffiti with really weird/creepy sayings! Sometimes they seem "cliche", but with the atmosphere, it really adds to the places!
wow, truly one of the best pieces
this has been the wallpaper on my palm pre since november 09....thanks motts

nyhc....MOSH
Of course it was written after the place closed. Do you really think a working hospital would just leave some creepy patient graffiti on the wall? No, they'd paint over it.
This is SO emo.
to a much earlier post....this was OBVIOUSLY written on the walls after the building was closed, im pretty sure if it was otherwise, it would have been painted over by the custodial staff to prevent patients from getting scared by it.
This is amazing.
its really the thought that counts
Hey kid? You can see me dying? i see that your already dead... EPIC PWN!
