It does, indeed, Twug. When I first looked at this picture, i felt solitude. Motts, do you know what that flat, square cumezecyame is on the peak to the right, in the distance?

No thanks needed, but thanks for the thanks :)

That square object above the peak is housing for what I believe is the ventilation system, they cover all the vent openings in the roof.

Hey, Motts, how long did you leave the shutter open to get these? I really like the way the earth's rotation makes the stars look like shooting stars.

Grifspop, most of these exposures were around 12 minutes, at F8.

Wow. Nice Exterior Shots there motts. It really brings out the veiw of the new outside.

P.s. They are planing to knock this asylum down to make condo's. But people are starting to say they do not want them there. It has also been said it has been almost All knocked down. I Live near this building so i have allways loved it's sleek look.

No dear, those are star streaks from a long exposure shot. The lens is open long enough to capture the motion of the stars, which is to slight for us dumb, slow humans to pick up on! :D
