Great shot!
The sky was much kind to you during your trip.
Fabulous shot Motts!
that is a nice picture! i wish i would have gotten to visit it before it got knocked down the other day!
I live across the river from the site, The Stack at the boiler plant was blown up last wend 12-7-0, 5. The Hosptial is really visable from my River front house now.
What's up with the dark marks under the windows on the bricks?
General industrial stains. Many a building acquires them after a while (being in a city doesn't help).
Mr. Motts,
Did you see any kind of Supernatural stuff on any of your visit's here?
What a view. The clouds with the sun attemting to break through. The lush greenery with that little cross road and the bridge. Sir, U are a master.
TT-TT

It's sad they'd tear down such a pretty building. Well, YOU guys might not think of it as being pretty, but I certainly think so. Motts also did a great job with the shots.
Gorgeous shots!!!!!!!So many memories. My great aunt(who is still living) worked at dixmont coz she is real patient. She even got strangled once but she had just happened to put her hand up to her neck when she was attacked. She was okay coz she pushed him off and called for help. BONE-CHILLING!!
Woe... hot_pink_rox595 that is amazing that you have a family member that actually was a paitent here.... Wow... I would love to know what it was like to stay there..... I would love to hear the stories she probaly has... Your aunt is part of history!!!! Can you believe that?? That is truly amazing...
To whom ever took these photos.
I would like to thank you. I know have a place to relive some of my teenage memories. I wish I could just hop on 65 and take a walk up the hill. I didnt see any pics of the gym, or tunnel. Wow if anybody is wondering about Ghosts and Dixmont. Def. Haunted, and I bet the property still is. There is cemetaries on the property with unmarked graves. I had more expierences in the Tunnel than I did anywhere on the property. I wonder, how many acres was Dixmont? Terrorvisions@yahoo.com
~400 acres which was mostly farm land and cemetery. The 75 acres which Walmart bought contained almost all the buildings.
