Strange Light

Strange Light

The paint on the very insides of the rooms remained in great shape for some reason, and didn't peel like everything else in the place.

OK, I can DEFINITELY do my pirate dance in this place.
Another beautiful hall shot.
Amazing.
All right, Lynn. You've referenced this pirate dance thing before, and I didn't ask at the risk of sounding really stupid. But....what is it?
If it involves Johnny Depp, can I cut in? : ]
Wow.

Lynne, anything that involves Johnny Depp has my full attention!
Funny how we are all partial to that child, what?
Ooooh baby. ;)
Maybe the paint on the room walls is latex? Latex doesn't peel I think? Or maybe I don't know.
Johnny Depp, gay, with some of the hollywood chicks he's nailed, I wish I was gay!!!! ;-)
Insulting Johnny Depp? *le gasp* Oh, the blasphemy! Actually, what happened was he was misquoted...he did not "bash" the US, he simply said that it is like a "young puppy" compared to many other countries...which is entirely true. He even personally contacted some people that were angry and explained the mistake and they understood. Yes, obviously I am a big fan, but I've read many different articles on this!
oh yes...I think someone's jealous...(not you Ed, although you may be lol)
A few insulting comments were deleted earlier, which makes things confusing - sorry.
i haven't had a chance to look through all the galleries yet, nor read all the comments (there are so many!) but these hallways seem a lot wider to me than others you've taken. it's a nice thing to see, especially in a place such as this.
Perhaps all the light projecting through the rooms as seen by the shot here helped reduce the moisture enough with the heat and rays of the sun to slow the peeling there as where the hall being so shadowed was not so lucky
Now that I am behind the green door I don't see Linda Lovelace :-)
The paint in the rooms is different from the stuff in the halls, more durable, tho keep the inmates from tearing it off / eating it. I think it was an enamel based paint used in the rooms, and a latex in the corridors.
But I may be backwards on that :)
Oops, as I was about to say before I got on my soapbox..
Very nice work, Mr Motts, I like the way the light merges in the hall, and the greenery at the end, like an exit from hell.
Welp Mr. Motts, I must applaud U. The mirrors are very well hidden. Lighting is GREAT!!! There is just NO WAY this could be natural : )
perfection and beyond words!
Pure.perfection.

I would Pirate Dance with Johnny ANYDAY!!!

Can you possibly share him with me?? PLEAAAAAAAASE??
