GREAT in black-and-white!
Is that a falling apart bench under the window Motts?
It almost looks like a pew, but looking at the way it's bent I doubt it's wood. I'd suggest it's the innards of the radiator / heater, the cover to which lies to the right-hand side....

it makes me think about the second world war, i don't know why...
I can see that WWll reference too, jinx...It looks like you are in London, in a bombed-out building...looking out the window at other damaged buildings...
Was that stained glass in the top of the windows Mr. Motts?
It was one of those stickers that looks like stained glass. Almost everything of value was stripped from Dixmont.
I love round top windows.
I can see one person standing at the window, at nite with a flashlite, sending code messages to the other side??? Can U see it? Ooops, I see someone at the window, Do U??
The decaying paint above the windows peculiarly resemble eyebrows ..
