Power Plant

Power Plant

A great view of the plant and remains of the elevated train spur. The coal chute is right in the center of the tracks, and fed coal from the train cars into the plant basement until it was converted to use alternate power sources.

The large complex in back of the plant is The Quad, and way in the distance, the Northport Keyspan power plant releases it's exhaust out of tall smokestacks.
