Whoa! I'm too tilted to do a pirate dance here! :-(

Swell shot, however.
this is breathtaking. Where the floors pretty stable Motts?
Awesome, Motts! Dizzying!
This shot makes me feel like I'm going to fall over the edge!
Odd design. Usually prison blocks seem to have two 'walls' of cells facing one another across an atrium, with translucent roof. This one seems to be better in that it possibly gave the inmates a view through those full-length windows, though possibly the cells were built back-to-back and therefore didn't have their own windows onto the outside...
Cool photography good angle.
Second AND third floors? This muct have been a big prison.
Great prison shots! Anybody direct me to some more? Deathrow if possible!
omg, I am obsessed with abandoned buildings,I want to go in!!!!! This one would be a dream come true!!!!
Wonder what that sounded like/smelled like.
Very loud and the smell was very bad in the hot weather on the upper tiers.
This picture is the Columbus Ave. side of the Main Block, the stair railing in the lower left was the stairs from six tier that led to the library. The screening on the two upper tiers was added in the early 80's after several close calls of both staff and inmates almost rolling off the tiers during disturbances.
Not exactly a penthouse suite. Great shot!
I used to live on the second teir at the begining of this photo back in 1984
That is a LONG hallway!
main 1-4 tiers looking at the door to the chow hall.
Can I ask why are there ladders? Surely the inmates weren't moved around up and down them? :)
