Isn't that what all the guys say? ;)
I was thinking more along the lines of "pull my finger".

Which I guess is also something only gus say. :-P
Err, "guys". I can't speak for Gus.
Poor Gus! 8`-)

So, didja pull hard, Motts?
You know, that whole sign is like one big freaking innuendo. Haha, naughty Power Plant People.
you're right. it reeks of innuendo. and i love it!

lynn, i'm still grinning at your "formication" comment. with a mindset like that, how can you go wrong?

the picture would have been fairly unremarkable if it hadn't been for the "hard" rivetted at the bottom. what an exceptional find! the last word sort of looks different, almost as if it were an afterthought. i've never seen any sign like it!

yep, it's the addition of the last word that makes every word suddenly seem risque, LOL! hehe.

i bet you cracked up when you saw it, eh, motts? i want a sign like that....
we all just have dirty minds!! (good);-)
Looking at each sign, the last one looks almost handmade. The nail holes are not even. The letters look different, the 'D' is almost crooked. It could be dirt, and only looks that way. It could have been added as an afterthought...?? Am I nutz?
It's like a puny guy at the factory got pissed off cause he couldn't get the handle to move, and bolted an additional "hard" sign under the others.
You can still see metal placards that very closely resemble these on telephone poles every once in a while. The electric company must have had a machine to make them.
Like the new look of the site. Lynton
There's a little tool that makes these, you put the die in a plier-type tool and squeeze. It's like the precursor to the Dymo labeller.
