Attend the tale of Sweeny Todd..........
...he shaved the faces of gentlemen, who never thereafter were heard of again
I love how the sink looks so clean and the chair is practically in tatters...
How do you illuminate objects/rooms in pitch darkness? And how long do you normally leave your shutter open?
I light the place with a flashlight, shutter is typically open anywhere from 2 seconds to 1 minute depending on the stop, flashlight brightness, and how big the area is to be lit.
I know what you mean Barbara, I almost wanted to say it looks like Motts cleaned the sink.
Does "Just a litte off the top" fit in here somehow?
I think that applies Bob! haha Before I even read the first comment Sweeny Todd popped into mind...scary.
This sink is just too clean.
fancy a perm anyone?
Reminds me of the "Homicidal Barber" Monty Python sketch!
that chair looks more intimidating thatn a dentist chair, oh the memories!!!!
The little clampy things at the top of the chair are freaking me out! I don't really recall having my neck choked at my last hair appointment. To each his own I guess...
man oh man ya'll never stop with that wonderful humor, i am loving it!
He trod a path that few have trod
Did Sweeney Todd
The demon barber of Fleet Street...

Ok if you notice the little metal things at the top of the chair.. Was it to shock the little kids if they didn't stay steal if so you might as well let my hair grow 10 feet long.. *Swings back and forth on feet* sweeny todd....

I worked WSH 1954-56. the little things on chair were padded so patients could lay head back when being shaved.they werent allowed to shave selves. just think a little u guys. no one was tortured at WSH ww1acepilot@yahoo.com
I just a few days ago spent the night here. I went in at night with no flashlight, thus couldn't find my way out. I stayed on the roof. I didnt want to go back inside at night and consequently that's where i slept. i would not advise going there alone
If only night time lasted forever...
is anyone really sure that it was a barbar chair and not a chair for toture for these people?
amazing chair shot Motts.
you have a gift.
(:
Great shot
whats the cushion at the front for? to keep patients legs in place? or is it because some patients kick involuntarily?
Sweed it looks like that was for the gynecological part of the chair session.
It only looks like an old sitting chair.
Sweeny Todd called he wants his chair back
Amazing!
