Canisters

These canisters were attached to the pully by a beaded chain and had hose connections at the bottom...

I love this! I'm still trying to figure them out...pumps, air tanks, something with hydrogen?
Where were they located, Mr. Motts? It looks like a brick wall on the left-were they in the basement? Maybe nothing so dark...whip cream dispensers?
Mmmmmmm, Whip Cream!
=8-o
Yep in the basement with some other equipment that looked laboratory - research like.
in that case, a preserving pump-style whipped something-er-other (ok, I'm not feeling well now...)
pump-styled whipped something or other!?!

OH MY!
I'm too wordy :-(
I think Me had an unwanted "vision" with that one! LOL
unwanted by whom? LOL
Mr. Motts, your photo has created a world of confusion!
Can you date these canisters?
Then I could find out if they are bug spray or whipped cream ;-)
Can he "date the canisters"? Does he have to send them candy and flowers first?!?!?!?!?!?!
No, not flowers nor candy............... just cherries!!!!!!!!
dirn ya'll. Could someone just send some hydrogenation for me, I'm thirsty :-)
An unwanted vision by YOU, Me. Sounded like you couldn't wrap your brain around what Quest said, and that made me laugh!
Naw got my brain warped, but just wish quest was a Y and not a n X.

Either way still love ya, quest.
thank ye, ~Me :-)
ok ok, i am busting a gut over here! u guys r just too funny!
I recognized that machine right away! It is actually a machine that measures respiratory pressures. The hose on the right was the part you exhale into, and the canisters were usually nested inside of on another and would be displaced whan you breathed. I can't find any links for this type of equipment b/c it's kind of old, but I am almost sure that's what it is.
how did you get into the hospital in the first place?
My first thought was "Ice ceram". Upon reading the response by TT NYC , as to the respiatory part of it, it could be a DUI tester.
these look like they're old lipo machines.
(:
you are correct it is used for respitory meassurements. its now caled a peak flow meter easly google it. most asthmatics use one every day and once every three months they have a lung capacity check
They call those tests "Pulmonary Function Testing". I have to endure them every 3 months. It actually looks rather benign in this photo compared to the hell it puts me through.
