Romantic?

Romantic?

This door in the far corner of the basement had a little heart shaped cutout, I found it to be pretty interesting... the red light is me walking past the open shutter because I was too lazy to use the timer function.

Well, yes, now that you mention it I DID feel fairly romantic when I first saw this picture. :-)

Glad you mentioned the red light or there would be orb-hunters here. ;-)
ah romance..................i know i always wanted my first date to take place in a hundred year old basement .
Yeah, exploring abandoned hospitals needs to be on the first date requirements for me hah
So, Motts, do you drag your girlfriend-wannabes along when you photograph these places to see how they handle it? It's absolutely none of my business, so naturally I just had to ask. :-)
I wish my guy friends were in to this sort of stuff...but no, they sit on their computers running the Taco Club lol. And yes, that is their real club...
Em . . . . . . . "the Taco Club"?????
Err, yes. It's not anything bad...just their warped sense of humor. um...www.tacoclub.org
erm, not anything /real/ bad
The wispy light really MAKES this shot!
The taco club.
Whoa.
I mean.
-Whoa-.
I think this room was for conjugal visits.....
Oh Phil! You silly, silly boy.
MOTTS,
YOU'RE EVEN SUPERB ON ACCIDENT!
...instead of behaving and going through all the Northhamptons, Iv'e been skipping and reading and gotten all akimbo and right now, I'm keeled over- with LOL's--It's so Taco-lishious %,-)
<wink> at quest. you should have brought a ball of string! what an odd odd place for a heart. you wonder what people are thinking about sometimes...
how could some one think of love in a place like this
Oh, I could. A place like that would really impress me for a first date. Not the same old boring thing everyone else does anyway.
hmm, they kinda do remind me of orbs though. It reminds me of two spirit lovers fleeing after the shot was taken like they were caught. (notice the other one going in the opposite direction?)
A cute little heart. Maybe the workers came down here to make love.
What was inside?
The entrance to a steam tunnel actually.
How odd
Well that eliminates my making love theory.
Motts~ Have you ever encountered doors in other abandoned places that had a little heart like this in it's door?
No, they are quite unusual, especially in old asylums...
I love this door. It seems -- well, actually it is -- so out of place, and totally random. It makes you wonder why that heart is there in the first place, who put it there, etc. But it's really pretty, in a creepy sort of way.
This place is definately an ancient hospital.
What a touch the pink line mikes to the shot though! A literal underline... quite an emotional little oasis in this place...
Ahhh hahaha too lazy, FTW!
Hearts on doors, cut-out, or a picture means a toilet in Sweden. Fun Every Day!

Question: Is the color of the sky blue or green?
