I love the dilapidated state of this room. I'm always attracted to scenes like this. The colors are so rich and the tones are very warm. I like that you can imagine exactly how it looked when it was, and still see it as it is now.
the colors, the colors. you sound like you're on a trip from the sixties. imagine what it was like to live there.
omg omg omg omg.... *orgasm*

sorry... amazing shot.
Jaysus...just the dilapidated state of the room looks violent, it's in such disarray.
christina, the human mind is set up to find beauty in anything, remember not all of us have memories of places like this , so therefore we are going to find beauty in the colors and the dilapitation.
I truly was taken aback by this shot! stunning!
this is so messed up, I can't even imagine what it must have looked like when it was in operation. It is s-o-o-o-o-o eerie.
This is why I love the colour shots so much.....
Creepy.
Looks like the anger from the past ripped some ceiling panels down.
"Medication time..." I agree w/ anna... there is beauty in decay, as it really is a detailed history in reverse... I can appreciate that while at the same time appreciating the plight of the lost souls who were kept here. Beautiful pictures.
You can just imagine all the nurses getting in in the morning and getting ready for the day...answering peoples questions as they came up to the desk looking for loved ones...pts asking when they would go home...i wonder what the last person to leave after it closed thought as they walked away from the desk for the last time
Has anybody played Broken Sword? The first one?

This would be a good set up for the first scene where the cafe is blown up!
I acutally stood in there, it's really decayed., I had to crawl under part of the coutner to get in..Excellent photo ^_^
Has anyone here seen the classic old move, "Snake Pit"?? This looks like it came out of that movie. Great job, Mr. Motts.
Now that is just amazing... I feel like I'm there, I want to look round the corner of the shot and see what else is in there
...Y toda la violencia contenida durante tanto tiempo, empezó a surgir, cubriendo todo de un aspecto decadente...
Sorry, hope someone can translate into english.
Translation...
... and all the violence contained during as much time, began to arise, covering everything with a declining aspect...
is that wood paneling on that back wall? this place almost looks like a bar
Looks like the violence finally worked its way back out....
Have you ever seen 'one flew over the cookoos nest' - nurses station -cratchet - can't you just see it !
Amazing shot! It looks completely different than everywhere else. Sweet!!!
Hello, welcome to bizarroworld, where the hell have ya been.
wow this room is totally demolished
Wow, I love how decayed this room looks. it's so beautifully rotten. Amazing job. I love it.
Imagine if you were a nurse and you'd go back to see this?
I've actually seen this same room on another site....... But not as creepy!
This room is falling apart! Does that door next to the window lead outside? that would explain the destruction.
looks like someone got slaughtered in that room
Some people only see what they want to see...
This is such a wicked pic

Dr. Kevorkian to the front desk please, ha....
