Wooden blocks to support the neck of the body were still inside and in place.

Oh, the things I missed! Something to look forward to next time.
It's a bit frightening that they leave things like this behind, just imagine! Dead people may have been laying right there in those freezers. It's quite fascinating, but at the same time a bit creepy..

Great photo though
Nice dutch angle
gives an air of desperation
If you haven't seen The Jacket you must, you'll definately have the feeling of what it was like in those body fridges. Good movie! Made me think alot about, of all the places Motts has gone to photograph.
Morbidly interesting.. Instead of seeing the interior of the Hospital, which housed mentally ill patients who were alive, we are now privy to the temporary location of a dead person. The wooden block heightens this idea greatly.
Again, nothing short of awsome!
You gotta have that headrest yah know-you don't want body leakage...Eww...I'm definitely going to shower now...-_o
god.............how really horrible, i think i want a beer.
*yawn* oh well nighty night *crawls on top of the bed/cot/metal thing* hey can you do me a favor and push me in thanks

oh AND SHUT THE DOOR!!!!! lol
It looks unused. Very clean....Usually cpvered with body debri
Okay... try to remember it in this order... Turn brain on - Then type... it makes it much easier for the rest of us.
Were these people buried on the property with number-markers or did any family come forward when they died? So many in institutions are just buried on the property. I've read so many sad stories about that.
Checking in?!
Awesome shot!
I like how the door on the right is open a little too...makes it seem like this freezer had two doors.

If anyone could possibly follow my train of thought...=)
this image freaks me out
Looks like something out of a horror flick
okay, I'm a morgue fan, but reality doesn't suit my imagination at this late hour.
I love this angle!!! I wish i could take pictures like this :/
