That's a tad depressing, huh? Makes me want to get out there and shore the thing up. :-)
Depressing???? These are scaring the crap out of me.... makes me want to go screaming into the night! = (8-0 <faints>
can you imagine what it be like at night watching the ships i think i would beat the boat back to shore lol
Motts, your pictures invoke so many emotions; its wonderful.
I love how the Sky cooperated perfectly.
Excellent photograph!
I just wanted to say , WELCOME BACK MOTTS. WE MISSED YOU !!!!!
Too bad for the ship... I think it looked nice...someday
this picture of the ship slolysinking looks like a skeleton slowly sinking in the water very eerie but exciting and beautiful. its not where he took good picture . its how lucky he was to be there to take the pics in the first place very exciting. gail
A wonderful picture of a tragic subject. You have to ask yourself why nobody sees the importance of preserving these venerable vessels: it's horrendously expensive though, I suppose.
Meanwhile there is white in the sky, there is rusty in our lands.........so sorry!
Astounding.
wonder how long that was there!
I hope everything inside was removed from these ships.
Thats definately a creepy shot.
these are very frightening photos, i'd love to see some night photos of the graveyard
I hope to try night shots here sometime soon...
It's like it knew it reached its prime and just gave up and started to slowly lay to rest.
Very touching scenes.
wow! this one hit the spot. I am a fanatic of this stuff. You took the words in my mind and put them on paper. you are a amazing photographer
You have forever changed my life thanks
This vessel is done sinking in the water. Now it's sinking into the mud.
The part of the boat that is above the water looks safe enough to explore. If I could explore the boat I would.
The photo shows exactly how I feel without coffee in the morning.
gee looks like somewon left the pilot house window down! The old captain will giv' ya hell!
wow this is so fascinating how ships that sink like that
as a navy vet of 27 yrs service its sad to see a ship dead like that a ship has a life of its own when crewed but these are touching photos.
Nice crescent moon rusted out of the upper right side...
Silkster you are cracking me up....mainly because I am feeling they same way you did when you saw these photos. Damn things scaring the crap out of me...yet they are so cool!
