That would have been an interesting boat to see in its better days.
This would have been a great place to see that pirate danceof yours, Lynne.
Yeah, I was thinking about which one of these would make the best setting for my pirate dance.
YO, HO, HO AND A BOTTLE OF PEPTO

Come and play, little children, upon my curved bow...
"I'm on top of the world!"
It makes me think about the romances that must have happened there in times gone by.
I think I saw this one on E Bay.
Budafokon nincsenek ilyenek (Hu)
a short and winding road...............
This is a bow shot of a former U.S. Navy tug, that is the only information I have on it.
It looks like the boat has been there for a long time. It does not look like it used to be a navy tug. It looks like it used to be an ordinary tug boat. It looks like the deck is completly roted away. It doesn't look like there is any deck left.
Listen, this is definatly not a tug because first of all look at the size and second of all the Navy used tugs seven times smaller.
Sorry Nicholai, it is a Navy tug, I removed the engine order telegraph from it many years ago. It is next to the old fireboat Hewitt, its a Navy tug. Try to find a photo of a Navy sea going tug they are quite big.
How appropriate I am listening to Celine Dion - Our Hearts Will Go On
Go to Google, type in: Brooklyn Navy Yard U S tugboat 1946 and you will see a similar Navy tugboat with the curved deck at the bow, there was a fire monitor (nozzle) there. Navy tugs came in all sizes and shapes.
