for some reason, i find this image really, really frightening. I suppose it brings home the fact that these buildings were once busy, active places with people in really bad states of mind, probably not being cared for the way they should of been. Its a sad piccie.
I think it shows the lengths the hospital went to in order to care for the patients. Most doctor's offices and clinics don't have this much emergency equipment.
At least they had the airway management stuff in each ward...
Quick, Robin! Get the Emergency Drug Box!
Nice mold, that's healthy too.
You need tke suction.
I agree with Smurfy and Bill, I think it shows how careful they were to make the place as well equipped as their budget would allow.
Keeping them outside on a frozen winters night is better???? I think these places though not perfect did serve a useful purpose and a lot of good people gave a lot of good care. There are not perfect answers to these situations. Vagrancy on the streets is the worse option in my book.
That handwriting looks just like my grandmother's. Ha. =)
Emergency drug box? Ummm wtf... They drugged every1 up major there why would they need emergency ones..
I want the TV
it waz prob a horrible tv
Emergency drugs in medical speak refers to drugs needed to treat a cardiac or respiratory arrest. They also contained meds to treat patients who exhibit severe alllergies. These are standard in areas that treat patients of all kinds. Atropine, Narcan, epi, Benadryl, lidocaine are examples of meds that would be in this location.
