Here's one fireplace Santa won't be coming out of!
Love the colors.
LMAO Twug
IS THAT MOSS ON THE FLOORS OR IS IT JUST GREEN CARPET?
its moss eww would not want to step there!
awesome shot!
I think that looks like moss, JAVA.

Such an odddity that a lovely fireplace like that would be marred by the glare of fluorescent lights.
Fireplace from hell? Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm new so hello all. Iv'e been lurking for awhile and this is one of my favorite sites to visit and by far the best UE site on the web. Bravo Mr. Motts

DAY-um, I lubs this shot!
I love it. One of my favorites. It is perfect
It looks like the fire got a little 'out of hand' and charred the mantle above the fireplace.
i love the moss covered floor
oh wonderfull, nature is recapturing this place. :)))
It seems like this one should have a mesh wire covering too, or maybe not if it was not accessible to the patients.
Looks like a sanctuary to me. Nice shot.
Creepy. It's almost like it grew out of the ground. Doesn't seem like the bricks in the back of the fireplace are very black, maybe it wasn't used too much?
can we say the fireplace of satan?! creepy, i can just imagine some grotesque horror flick creature crawling out of it! aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!
Now that looks like a real nasty room. I can just smell it by looking at the picture!
It looks dismantled. Ha! Thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal.
Wow! Its Nature's Carpeting!

it looks like in a few years, that fireplace mite look like its in the middle of a forest, and that will make 4 a great pic!
Just proves that eventually nature does takes over.

Gorgeous Mr. Motts.. *applause*
anyone see a skull in the soot above the fireplace?
Theres a fire Place.
looks like it was burnt! and not the right way either!!
I see the skull and I also see an impression on the far left wall of a human body, head, legs, arms, the whole thing
I love this one. Lichen- one of my favorite elements of dis-use.
