This is an interesting perspective. This must have been a great place to walk through.
It kind of gives one a sense of melancholy to know that this place is so deteriorated. It's so lovely. I bet the interior, when it was still intact, was almost like transporting to another era.
This is the first shot where I can feel like I can breathe. It's so lush and wild.
Motts,
Was this an inner sanctum or familiar relm?
WOAH ITS SOOO BIG!
Any poison ivy there Motts?
This couldn't be the powder house, could it?
I am gonna run away and live here.

Bye, You all take GOOD care now, Ya Hear?
I wouldn't wear shorts on this island, Ed
i absolutely love this shot, amazing
Bet you pick-up a hell of alot of Ticks??
WHO!!!!! WHAT A SIGHT
To me it looks like it was attacked and the only weapons that were used were bombs. It sort of looks like a war zone.
you cant really walk in here.its all grown up immensely.also the island is big for snakes.unless you have a boat (now i believe theres a tour)its impossible to get here.
Another very impressive shot. One gets the impression that the walls are closing in, and that there is no escape.
Rohan, I agree it is a bit disconcerting.
The secret garden........
this place looks like it's thousands of years old
the back wall does not look all that great, that turret will hopefully last
Wow this place looks incredible. Why has no one set a film there or something?!
Would LOVE to see a list of before and after pictures of this place. Also what it looked like lit up at night back in the day.
