This place is really, really great.
Ah, we Vanderbilts had our great moments!
you've made me feel at home.
I wonder what will become of this place? I love it just the way it is.
you know what will happen. The serenity of the local and the reson for its original existance will be shuttled to the 22nd century. Meaning, these grounds will be auctioned off to to highest bidder for retail... Don't mean to be cruel, but these are the times....
I want to go here!
Well, they sure wasn't people of small gestures, but I kind of think that's a cool approach.
I think you got the best of this place motts..from what I can see there isn't a whole lot left. Were you part of a "tour" or other?
QUEST, THAT'S PUTTING IT POLITELY.
...yes...I was being polite, wasn't I !
this place is gorgeous!!
It's flawlessly shot! Looks sort of like the castles back in Ireland.
I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN BEACON, NY. SINCE I CAN REMEMBER I WAS IN LOVE WITH BANNERMAN'S CASTLE--YOU HAVE GIVEN SO MANY OF MY QUESTIONS AN ANSWER--BUT YOU KNOW, WITH BANNERMAN'S, IT'S NEVER ENOUGH--THERE ARE SO MANY WHYS THAT NEED ANSWERING, SO MANY SECRETS THAT HAVE BEEN GIVEN HERE AND THERE IN FRAGMENTS--BUT YOUR PHOTOS ARE OFF THE CHARTS!!!
THANK YOU...
GBA

Beautiful!
Immagine this place in its heyday.
this place is amazing. I would never want to leave
It is a shame that they can not save it. I wish they could find a rich benefactor that would restore it and take a tax deduction for it.
