great shot!
I like this shot, it just goes to show that mother nature eventually will win and take over as seen in this photo, amazing!!
Ready or not, here I come!
funny how this plant grows away from the light source
Looks like a seen form a horror movie.
I work literally a block from here. I pass it everyday and want to go in so badly. Did you just go in? No trouble?
Nice colors. It would be interesting to see another pic of this in a few years. I bet that vine will make itself quite at home.
This, for some unknown reason to me, made me think about one of the Jurassic Park movies, where the little gymnist girl was flipping around in the warehouse and the raptor shoved his head in a hole near the ground at her.

ha. sorry
sick shot!
This picture reminds me of one of the abandoned buildings back when it was center was still open. We called it the war building and would hand out there. It was always creepy but it was fun. In the mid 80's there was this one Northport kid that would hang out there with his friends from KP. His name was Ricky Kasso (craziest eyes you ever saw!) He killed a kid named Gary in the woods in Northport. The book "Say You Love Satan" is about the killing. I remember how Ricky would spray paint his name and other things on the walls. The war building is gone now, was demolished. Ricky killed himself in prison.
Let's slide
wow long plant
The tenacity of Mother Nature will always intrigue me. Humans may delay the inevitable but, in the end, nature will reclaim what's hers. Nothing is exempt. Even the Great Pyramids of Giza will, eventually, succumb. And this process can be beautiful if allowed to progress naturally. Through the lens of Mr. Mott's camera, we get a rare glimpse of this process unmolested.
