Good God! What it does to the shape of this picture! Gives the feel that there are more angles than there actually are. Throws your eyes several different ways at once - great job - very complex.

It gives the shot almost an hourglass shape (without the curves)... Like it is thinner in the middle...

Every time I see one of these light from the doorway shots, I expect to see the shadow of a person in it. I am so happy that I haven't!!!

There's a frame of a table there in the shadows. The top is either missing or it just held a tray that could be carried away.
