A poetic little symbol of the building - once alive, now forgotten and dying.
put some flower seeds in it and hang it back up :)
Not dying...dead. so, so sad....
By the way, why would someone hang a plant up by the ceiling. What an odd place to put it.
I think they hung the plant really high up to keep it away from the deranged mental patients or the sadistic staff members that were here.
No wonder it's dead....how could you even WATER it???
Grifspop, are you trying to summon Lynne?
Em, um, er . . . . . .

[Trying to be good.]
It's a dead plant...get over it...... sorry, just needed to be a smartass. =8 )
LOL! ROFLMBO! Good one, Twug! :0)
Yeah, I missed Lynne's Thump thump thump,
thought I'd try to stir something up.

Thanks, Twug, for the Thomas Covenant reference, you rock.....
Ah yes, I too am trying to be good, and not clutter this place up...but...when I read Twug's comment, I just cracked up with laughter again.

It's just a comment, we ~should~ get over it. (LOL)
wow..quite the eye for epitomes of abandonment..small, insignificant, unnoticeacle even to the searching eyes
btw..thats the kind of picture that i thought only i would take..it's an entirely different world of thought
aw, poor widdle plant!
HELP!! Somebody please get a horticulturist!!!
amazing capture ...
Most of my household plants end up looking this way. :-)
It was likely already dead when they vacated the building. It probably was one of those plants that cascaded downwards over the edges of the pot.
I find this heartbreaking. Call me crazy, but I do.
I agree with J.R. it really does break my heart to see it so alone and forgotten.
It must drive patients insane from hearing water drops to the floor because the bottom of the pot has 4 holes in it.
I thought it was a bucket of Bats!
I agree with JR and Aly- very sad indeed.
awww! help it!
Why would you put a plant up so high like that? It doesn't make much sense really. Strange if you ask me. Another interesting photo Motts....
i would take it home and revive it with a defibulator..
Poor little guy!
looks lonely
wow i would think that plant would have disinigrated unless someone goes in there and waters it
