they must have used alot of drugs on patients.
What's up with the more modern looking tube that has the purple lid? It looks like the kind they use when I get my blood drawn, never seen the others.
looks like new jack city after the crack establishment burned down(movie)
The purple tube looks like a Vacutainer tube. Since the place was shut down in 1991, they probably would have had those by then.
it kinda looks like everyone got a flew shot in this room

DRUGS
That one in front looks like the ones still in use, Don't suppose there is much room for innovation with these types of things though.
That is amazing. Wow, such historical presence. (lol that sounded really geeky, but i dont care)
looks like someone had a coke problem...
The little tubes were probably injectable medications. You can tell, because some of the lids have rubber centers where the nurses or doctors would put a needle in the draw up injections.
they look more like blood tubes
sage
The big one is a blood collection vial, but the others lare ampules.
Really small ampuoles though.
Any human nurses (I'm a veterinary nurse) want to speculate as to what was in those little amps?
Maybe barbituates to "calm" code white patients?
I still can't believe these places leave all these things behind.
for some reason this picture reminds me of the scene from the movie "Saw 2" where the girl who was a druggie gets thrown in a pit full of needles. i know the picture is of tubes and all, but it just reminds me of that scene.
i love all the detail and the quality of light in this photo. it's beautiful and scary. it's amazing how much dust is on the ground, and how little got kicked up in the air, so the shot didn't come up all cloudy.
If you found them in the dentist room, than perhaps its Novacane?
The tube is an EDTA tube that prevents blood from clotting once drawn.
Those little tubes are anesthetic carpules--this picture was probably taken within the dental clinic, no?
The carpules go into reusable syringes. They are pre-loaded with lidocaine, carbocaine, mepivicaine, etc. The metal end has a little rubber diaphram in it that the needle goes in, the rubber plugs on the other end are engaged with the harpoon end of the syringe so the DDS can aspirate during injection to make sure they're not in a blood vessel.
Mollie, that purple tube does look too modern and out-of-place. So does the rubber band right next to it. Maybe someone else exploring the building in the last few years left them there...
Highly doubtful someone would have taken it in there with them, If you ask me...
Morphine, anyone ?

Question: What is the first letter of the word "abandoned?"
