Anna....i was also afraid of the dentist. Until i saw these pictures!! Thank god we live today, & not back then.....

I was there today, four numbing shots. I do believe even my eyeball was numb for a while there. Now that the numbing is over where he shot me is sore as crap. Stupid dentist tried to talk to me while numbing me. I almost bit him.........seven or eight times today. :'( I feel sorry for dentists because of paitents like me, that glare at you when you get near them. But then again if i was the dentist i would laugh in the situation because of the ceartian people (jodi) that cry when getting numbed. Anyways i was there today, in that chair.

Whenever I go to dentist, they use enough sedative to make me faint, but I wake up as soon as they my mouth. I can't stand it.

Motts, was this unit a nice enameled shade of blue, green or pink? VERY popular colors from the era that this unit is from! BTW, I love how there is still paper towel in all of the holders

Thank heavens all 3 or so of my cavities were small ones (even though I could have used a bit more local one time and the drill makes even a "small" cavity seem huge) As for my wisdom teeth, I was knocked out on nitrous and whatever else they use. The only ill effect of that was 4 days of the horse-pill antibiotics. Once I got to stop taking those, my stomach agreed with me again.

Man, Looks like another GE x ray tube sits and rots away. Me and my boyfriend Jeremy want that GE tube head! We have over 15 different x ray machines, and related parts. We have machines by Picker, Ge, Toshiba Rotanode, Transworld X ray which is out of business, I am sure you have seen these names in your searches.
