Did you get caught in the storm?
LOOKS LIKE A SCARY OLD HOUSE IN THE COUNTRY....FAB!
The texture of the clouds looks awesome. I'm debating whether I like the power lines. I think they interrupt the solidity of the building, but they seem to be a good addition of the horizontal to the very vertical lines of the photo.
Yeah we got a little wet walking back... I wished the power lines weren't there but it was a quick snapshot, the road ahead was being driven on.
I like the lines.
Great shot!
With the thunderstorm and the height of the building "Looming" is one word that snaps to mind!
I like the power lines. The veins of modern society flowing past something decayed, old, and frightening.Great contrast.
It looks as if there is someone in the top right window.
Don't ya just love the fact the weather co-operates with him to help with the effects of the photos. Helps set the mood.
I have always loved storms from childhood on. They always send a kind of excitement through me. Even recently when the creek around my new-to-us house was flooding and I was running around like a maniac picking everything up off of the floor and low laying spots that I could I paused to watch the lightening spreading out across the sky and appreciate the deep rumble of the thunder. (The creek got to about 4 feet from our front stoop and then began to recede, we got lucky this time!)
What I meant to say before I accidentaly hit the "submit comment" button was that this photo invokes the excitement of a potential storm. I think the element of danger in a storm adds to the excitement.
creepy building. lol and the clouds make it even creepier. Nice job, Motts. It makes it very convincing to go in there =D
Nice shot. Looks like the power linnes give the building some sort of life.
Fabulous shot.....power lines and all. It's perfect..
Foreboding to say the least!
