whoever took this is awesome, I want to get in there so bad!
i like the colours! and i really love the pelling walls.
thats where i belong...eeee! this is creepy:) i love it as long as i dont get tied to a bed or anything
I'd love it even more if I got tied to a bed... :D
Sketch.....HAHAHAHAAA!!!
Motts, did you use a colored filter here?
Nope, I think the light was filtering through the trees and vines outside the windows, casting a green light.
is it just me? or is almost every major room, in EVERY hospital - green?????
MAN THAT SH@T IS CRAZZZYYYYY!!
I think the lack of any kind of privacy or personal space alone would cause me to go a little mad.
Thank God hospitals don't have wards anymore.
...They don't?
Not like this. Now wards have rooms for one or two people whereas they used to have big rooms for many people like in the picture above. I'd take one roommate as opposed to ten roommates any day.
yo man im from this area , and this place is the real thing. guys be careful
How old is this place? About 11 years, right? It looks like it's from the 20s
This building was built between 1925 and 1931, and has been abandoned since around 1996.
that makes sense
y dont you just drive out to that shit and go in its not haunted
the random boarded up houses in the main park aren't haunted(and a lot harder to get into) but ht emain building.....the really really big one that you can't miss is quite haunted but is still really awesome to get to the top in.
i wish i could spend a night in there
It's only been disused since '96 and is already in such a bad state??! The paint they used must have been of REALLY poor quality if it's got that bad so soon!! I daresay it's probably still alright structurally though- for the most part, anyway....
Please tell me that you wear some sort of protective breathing apparatus when you explore these places. Just to think of all the mold and asbestos.. uch.
I don't much care for the ward idea either. I think I'd rather be with one person than with 10 or 20 people packed in one room. The no privacy thing would kinda get to me. Yeah I have to say the peeling paint is kinda a hazard really. I do hope your careful Motts. Interesting photo....
well that was 13 years ago, that is quite a long time for a building to sit and decompose, remember wood does rot rather fast.
my grandmother worked here as a nurse in the 50s. She said that this whole place was amazing... when ever i see a picture i just try and imagine it like it was still working... it must have been amazing.
I live in Kings Park and when the center was still opened, many, many patients left the grounds and walked throughout town. We used to spend a lot of time in the abandoned buildings and underground tunnels as teens. We were also told that the center did not hold criminally insane and/or dangerous patients, well they lied. It have very strong energies. I am going to start taking night pics on the grounds, but the security is tight and dont know if I will be allowed around during night time. (I will anyway!!) OH, my father was the head Architect there before he passed away. It was the last job he had.
